Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

I’ve thought about this all day, even while napping and I guess I would have to say that I don’t have an ideal day. First, it’s wishful thinking which can be a distraction. More importantly, each and every day is so different from the one before. Each day has something unique to offer. I don’t like the idea of pinning a day down to the best that it can be, especially because a day will never match up to it.

Days have their ups and downs. It’s the natural cycle of things. If you read The Essence of Existence, you would know that I beleive there’s importance in duality in the universe. You can’t have the good without the bad. The two are intertwined. For me, knowing that nothing is perfect makes the world a beautiful place. Sometimes the beauty of a thing is in it’s flaws.

  1. I really like your take on this. I never realized that a day just won’t feel normal with any bad moments. If there were no times of bad, we would never really know what an ideal day would feel like.
