I had an interesting day with the family today. We drove down near Milwaukee because my aunt’s friend Jim needed a ride back home. He’s letting his brother use his car, so we had to drive down there so he would have a way back home.

The trip down to Milwaukee was pretty uneventful, I mainly worked on my laptop. There were a lot of campers on the highway because of Memorial Day, and lots of speeders as well. Anyway, we visited with Jim’s brother for a little bit, and then we decided to take the scenic route back to Appleton. Here’s a gallery of some of the images that I took.

The first image is of a house that we saw with an interesting architectural design. There were a lot of cool houses, but we didn’t stop for all of them. We also went to this park I guess you would call it? There was a damn and a huge wooden tower. I climbed the wooden tower despite my fear of heights because I was already relegated to using a bathroom without washing my hands because there was no sink in the bathroom. I figured if I was going out of my comfort zone about the handwashing, might as well go out of my comfort zone about heights. By the time I got up the tower, my legs were so shakey it only added to my fear of heights.

My only regret is not capturing a picture of the tower before/after climbing it. Bonnie has pictures of it, so maybe I’ll grab one from her and share it in a future post.

For those interested, I haven’t been updating recently because my time is predominately taken up by work and playing video games, which I think most people have little interest in hearing about. For those who may be interested, I’ve been playing Hogwarts Legacy and Pokemon Violet. Let me know in the comments if you want more information about that.

Leave a comment and let me know how your Memorial Day went. Did you do anything fun? Relaxing? With family? I’d love to hear from you.
