Daily writing prompt
Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

Bubba.

Here is a photo of him cuddling the blanket really intensely. A picture says a thousand words, right? If this picture could say a thousand words, most of them would be variations of “soft.” At least that’s what I imagine.

The prompt asks us to describe one simple thing that makes us happy, right? That would be Bubba for me. I’ve spent enough time describing him in previous posts. Instead, I guess I’ll just update everybody on how he’s doing. He’s been doing pretty well overall, but he seems bored often. I want to introduce him to some more stimulus so I’ve been trying to brainstorm ideas. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

He’s also gained quite a bit of weight since his neutering. He seems content though, so I’m not going to worry about it too much. I don’t think it’s impeding him in any way. I have been spoiling him with these Pure Balance wet food treats. He especially loves the seafood flavors. Here, let me grab a picture. You can see it over ☞

They might be contributing to his weight gain, but he loves them so much and looks forward to them each day so I don’t feel right not giving them to him. I should bump it down to every other day I think. Any cat owners out there with suggestions, it would be appreciated if you shared. 🙂

Anyhow, I’m planning on going to a radio show tomorrow morning. I have to be ready to leave at 4:45 in the morning. For that reason, I’m going to keep the post quite short and probably try to sleep some before I have to start getting ready.

Take care.

  1. I would say if you can, try to give him the treats every other day. I have had to cut my cats down in the past, and they adjust pretty easily to the change. You don’t want him getting too chunky if you can help it.
